The Distinguished Flying Cross Society (DFCS) honors the extraordinary men and women who have earned the Distinguished Flying Cross through acts of heroism or exceptional achievement in aerial flight. Their courage, skill, and dedication represent the very best traditions of aviation service.

The DFCS mission is:   "To Steward the legacy of Distinguished Flying Cross recipients by preserving their enduring lessons of courage while advancing aviation education and supporting those who serve and sacrificeo preserve military aviation heritage, advance education, and support those who serve and sacrifice."

Our vision statement is for " A future where the legacy of Distinguished Flying Cross recipients is preserved and endures as a source of inspiration, education and service for generations to come".

Through remembrance, education, and service to our communnities, we are committed to keeping the history and values of the Distinguished Flying Cross alive.
